Tsitsikamma Falls Adventures Quad Bike Tour
TSITSIKAMMA FALLS ADVENTURE QUAD BIKE TOUR
This adventure activity is
suitable from the age of 10 years and older. Any person younger than 10 years
old needs to be accompanied by an adult. This is a guided tour and booking is
essential due to limited availability. The tour takes place on a farm opposite
Tsitsikamma Falls Adventures.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR
TOUR!
The tour takes
approximately 45 min. Guest needs to report at reception at least 30min before
the Tsitsikamma Quad Bike Tour departs. You will have to do the payment at the
office and then report at the Kitting room. There you will receive an indemnity
form to sign and you will be kitted in a rain suit, helmet etc. You will be
taken to the starting point by your professional tour guide and he will brief
you on the safety and the use of the Quad Bike.
All the motorcycles are
automatic and need little or no experience. You will then depart on your tour at

Depending on the weather
you can expect either dust or mud which will add to your unforgettable
experience. Guests are requested to always obey instructions and warnings from
your tour guide as to avoid injury to yourself and/or others or damage to the
quad bikes. This is a very high risk adventure and persons not abiding to
instructions will not be allowed to continue the
tour.
WHAT TO WEAR

Old
long or short pants.

Comfortable
flat sole shoes preferably closed.

Sunglasses
should preferably have a neck strap.

Please
don’t forget the camera (It will be safely kept by your tour guide and you will
be given opportunities to capture your adventure.)

Spare
clothes and a towel.
RESTRICTIONS

Any
person under the age of 18 years of
age must have a guardian/parent to sign an indemnity form when partaking in any
of the adventure activities on the property presented by

Pregnant ladies.-
Persons
with spinal and neck problems.

Children
under the age of 10 years have to be accompanied by an adult and have to be
seated in front of the driver.
SAFETY
We
pride ourselves on our safety record to date. Furthermore there are strict
criteria set by the Insurance Companies which we have to abide by. During the
tour you are under no circumstances allowed to veer off the track or drive at
excessive speed. When taking a turn
it is very important to slow down and keep both hands on the handle bars and
both feet on the foot rests, since this is the most common reason for quad
bike accidents.
HOW LONG DOES THE TOUR
TAKE?
The
average tour takes approximately 45 min. Note that this might vary due to
factors such as:

GROUP SIZE
Group
size is 4 people and we can accommodate 2 groups at a
time.
TOUR SCHEDULES
We are open every day of the year and depart every hour to 1h30 min. The first tours leaves at 08h30 and last group leaves 15h00 during off season. During peak season first groups leave at 08h00 and last groups leave at 16h00. Signing of indemnity forms and kitting up takes approximately 30 min. It is very important to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
COST
The Tsitsikamma "Quad Bike Tour" Cost ZAR 300 per person. An additional ZAR 150 will be charged if you are two persons on one Quad Bike e.g. if you are under the age of 10 years old or choose to be lifted. A ZAR 300 refundable damage deposit per quad bike is required. Note that we do take most major credit cards like VISA and Mastercard.
